Who's Getting A Star?

Horror heavyweights John Carpenter and Robert Englund will get stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year . . . along with Prince, Jane Fonda, Jessica Chastain, Busta Rhymes, and Green Day, and others.

Carpenter is the writer / director of SO many horror and sci-fi classics, including "Halloween", "The Fog", "The Thing", "Escape from New York", "Big Trouble in Little China", "They Live", and "Prince of Darkness".

Robert Englund is, of course, best known for playing Freddy Krueger in all the "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies . . . except the 2010 remake.

Also getting stars next year: Prince, Jane Fonda, Jessica Chastain, Colin Farrell, Emilio Estevez, Nia Long, Fran Drescher, Lauren Graham, Bill Nye, Sherri Shepherd, "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Fantasia, Depeche Mode, the B-52s, Green Day, Busta Rhymes, George Strait, Keith Urban, and others.
